About the Role
We are seeking a Fixed Plant Execution Supervisor to lead the Execution Maintenance and Processing team to safely and cost effectively execute the ore processing production plan and loading of trains with lump and fine product. This position is also accountable for the coordination of maintenance, supervision of Contracting Partners, and interactions with the reliability team to drive continuous improvements.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of front line personnel to drive the right culture and operational outcomes
- Safe execution of weekly maintenance and processing activities on time and within budget
- Maintaining a high profile in the promotion of safe working conditions and practices to ensure a safe working environment
- Review of work management plans and resourcing
- Executing the ore processing production plan in accordance to the processing standards and targets for HSEC, Cost and Volume
- Promoting a high level of team interaction and coordination
- Identifying and providing input in the continuous improvement of the processing production plan
- Delegate elements of the Contractor Management Framework (CMF)

This role will be offered on a permanent basis, working on a 8/6, 7/7 roster FIFO from Perth. In addition, other benefits include generous allowances, outstanding facilities, and an attractive share save scheme, annual salary reviews and a short-term incentive bonus
About You
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
- Australian recognized Mechanical trade qualification - highly desirable
- A "C" class manual driver's licence
- Supervisory experience is essential
- Fixed plant processing, shutdown and/or maintenance experience beneficial
- Strong safety leadership skills
- Proficient in SAP and understanding of Work Management practices
Location
The South Flank Mine is an 80Mt expansion of BHP's existing Mining Area C hub, located approximately 130 km by road north-west of the town of Newman, combining to produce up to 145Mt to be the largest standalone iron ore processing centres in the world, within reach of several billion tonnes of high-grade ore.
