About the role

The Supervisor for Site Infrastructure will provide support to ensure that the infrastructure maintenance works, procedures and systems adhere to legislated requirements and internal controls for the Perth Repair Centre (PRC) Facility in Welshpool, WA.

This role will encompass: 

•    Management of onsite contractors to align with BHP and OS procedures including contract management and HSE requirements. •    Acting as Site Responsible Person for onsite contractors, including management and escalation of safety incidents. •    Contributing to regular reporting on maintenance works, standard of work, adherence to schedule and pipeline of upcoming works. •    Working closely with the Maintenance Execution Supervisors to ensure maintenance work is conducted in a manner that ensures minimal disruption to maintenance plan delivery.

About you

You will have a desire to shape culture, lead and improve business processes. It is essential that you demonstrate safety as a value, with a safety focus being part of your everyday. Your ability to communicate is of the upmost importance, as well as your coordination skills. •    Experience working in contract and contractor management within the BHP and OS environments; •    A continuous improvement focus that identifies opportunities for improving processes, creating efficiencies and designing capability improvement; •    High level interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong partnerships across a range of stakeholders both external and internal; •    Willingness to lead and implement change, as well as influence, coach and model BHP values and behaviours; •    Diversity of thought and practical experience will be embraced.

Desirable capabilities for the role include;

•    Understanding of BHP and OS HSE requirements and procedures •    Experience in facility and asset management •    Understanding of the BHP work management process, MECoE and Master Data governance and processes
