We currently have 2 x opportunities available for a Supervisor Integrated Operations to lead a Controller team in our remote operations centre in Perth.

The Controller team works with our Pilbara Operations to execute and optimise the production plan. The Team interacts with all aspects of the supply chain that operate from the Operation Centre to maximise outcomes for the business.

Our state-of-the-art Operations Centre (OC) located near the Perth domestic airport, is a key component of our Mine of the Future™ vision. The OC control room operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to coordinate our integrated network of mines, rail, power, and ports. It enables all our mines, ports, and rail systems to be operated from a single location, optimising site activities from 1,500km away. This role is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual.

Reporting to the IOPs Superintendent – Controllers, your role tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Ensuring all safety procedures and processes are compliant
  • Responsible for managing and scheduling team members to ensure skill matrix is effective to guarantee continuity of service to site-based teams.
  • Ensuring our standards are professional and upheld at all times to enable us to deliver operational plan safely
  • Work with stakeholders to improve efficiencies and remove roadblocks and hurdles.
  • Drive continuous improvement with site-based stakeholders and our internal processes.
  • Champion stakeholder engagement both on site and in the Operation Centre with our partner network.
  • Be an advocate and support the team through change.
  • Completes shift prestart, incident reports, monthly reports, and other required reports.

About you

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:An analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills, sound communication and computer skills

  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in the mineral processing pits, plants, or workshops.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including good oral and written skills.
  • Experience in autonomous haulage systems (Caterpillar knowledge desirable)
  • Previous experience leading teams
