We are looking for an engaging and safety focused Supervisor Laboratory to lead a dynamic team of laboratory operators.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity to draw on your people leadership skills, harnessed with your technical knowledge to positively develop and support your team, whilst fostering an inclusive and positive team culture.

Reporting to the Superintendent Fixed Plant and working in a collaborative and diverse team within the Marandoo Fixed Plant team, you will:
- Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes, whilst providing leadership, development and support to your team
- Ensure that sampling turnaround times are met safely and to a high standard
- Ensure a high degree of quality control is maintained
- Ensure that data is collected, validated and collated for high quality management practices
- Exhibit and demand good housekeeping practices within the lab area
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained to optimum levels
- Manage all consumable items for the laboratory area
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety for yourself and the team
- Leadership experience and be confident in developing and coaching teams
- Knowledge and experience with laboratory equipment, systems and process relevant to Iron Ore
- Capability to handle high pressure situation and make informed decisions
- Exposure to Contractor Management
- High level of computer literacy; experience with SAP is beneficial
- Hold a current C Class Manual Driver’s License
