Supervisor Maintenance

The purpose of this role 

To lead a Maintenance crew within an operation area or in a specialized discipline over the entire operation and ensure maintenance activities are safely executed against schedules, plans, and specified standards.
 

Location - Collie

Refinery - This role will be based at our Worsley Alumina Refinery which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (35 minutes – bus available from Bunbury location only) and other nearby scenic communities.  
 
As there is no accommodation on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie.  
 
 
 
Accountabilities   

Primary responsibilities are to:  

• Lead a maintenance execution team and promote operating discipline related to the SAP work management processes 
• Verify production execution employees and contractors adhere to work standards, are competent, and understands the purpose and functionality of critical controls relevant to their work
• Lead an improvement culture by encouraging teams to identify improvements and support the delivery of these 
• Hold team members to account for safely meeting performance expectations 
• Spend appropriate time in field to supervise the execution of the production plan to achieve established performance targets at a shift or crew level.
• Participate in the weekly pre-planning, planning and scheduling meetings to ensure alignment and commitment of resources to the work schedule.  
• Conduct regular compliance checks to ensure adherence to 1SAP processes and work instructions, and the entering of the relevant transactional data in 1SAP. 

About You   

• Significant experience at supervisory level with a demonstrated capability to successfully lead a team, influence others and performance manage a team 
• Holds a recognised trade qualification or possess’ significant supervisory experience in a maintenance environment 
• Currently holds or can be appointed a Section 44 General Appointment 
• Self-reliant contributor with distinctive proficiency in a maintenance area and detailed knowledge of procedures related to the operation. 
• Intermediate proficiency in computer applications such as SAP, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
