ABOUT THE ROLE 

This role is a Permanent position on a 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday roster, based at our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities. 

You’ll be responsible for guiding a maintenance team, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of tasks, and supporting operational goals in line with schedules, safety standards, and performance expectations.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Leading the maintenance team to implement work plans thoughtfully and safely.
• Ensuring work orders are completed while upholding safety and operational standards.
• Managing resources, updating schedules, and supporting the timely execution of tasks.
• Providing coaching, guidance, and development to team members to foster growth and improve performance.

About You

You will bring experience and capability in the following areas:

• Proven ability to lead and guide a team in a maintenance setting.
• Strong communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and building relationships across teams.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities.
• A proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Qualifications for this position are:

• Currently holds or can be appointed a Section 44 General Appointment.

Desirable:

• Holds a recognised trade qualification or has exposure to a maintenance environment.
• A formal leadership qualification.
