Supervisor - Maintenance

Macmahon currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join the maintenance team at the Foxleigh coal project located near Middlemount in the Bowen Basin on a 7:7 DIDO roster.

This is a five-year contract which encompasses the provision of mobile plant & maintenance services, including the maintenance of client owned equipment.

The role of the Maintenance Supervisor is to provide effective supervision to the plant maintenance crews to deliver the requirements in terms of safety, leadership, plant service delivery and cost. Additionally, the role is to ensure all allocated equipment on site is maintained to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards and provided ‘fit for purpose’ to the mining operations teams for safe and efficient use in achieving the business plan. The aim of this role is to effectively supervise the execution of all activities to ensure all preventative and breakdown service work is carried out to the OEM specification and quality required. To perform tasks safely according to site procedures and responsibilities under Queensland coal mine safety and health legislation.

About you:

5+ Years’ experience in relevant trade (must be able to show qualifications) 
Extensive knowledge & experience on a range of heavy earthmoving equipment and ancillary plant. 
Detailed knowledge of mining and safety regulations 
Mechanical knowledge to a level of understanding equipment capabilities, maintenance scheduling and preventative maintenance methods 
Supervisory management skills 
Current First Aid Certificate 
S1, S2 an S3 
7/7 Roster – Rotating weeks of day shift/night shift
Standard 11 induction 
Coal Board Medical 
Drug & Alcohol Screen 
Drivers Licence (manual)
