Work Location:

Chichester Hub 

  • Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.

Roster:  7D/7N/14R – FIFO 

  • Reporting to the Superintendent, this position offers a key leadership role for our Mobile Maintenance Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of non-trades-based personnel to safely deliver a high standard of availability and reliability and to consistently promote excellence through application of values and visual leadership with a diverse working group. 

    Key accountabilities will include:

    • Leading a dynamic team of diverse personnel within the Infield Service and Fire Suppression Support Teams 
    • Oversee completion of compliance inspections and maintenance on Mobile Maintenance workshop infrastructure 
    • Provide contract support for third party Maintenance vendors
    • Implementation of maintenance improvement projects.

    Qualifications and skills required:

    • Previous Supervisory experience within the Mobile/Fixed Plant Maintenance space.
    • Proficient user of computer maintenance management systems – SAP & Microsoft Office
    • Ability to undertake quality risk assessments
    • Demonstrated high level of leadership skills
    • Excellent management and organisational skills, with a high attention to detail
    • A proven ability to coach, mentor and train a diverse team
    • Ability to work with other departments to achieve objectives, team oriented
    • Proven commitment to principles of safety and zero harm
