About the role

Join our team as a Supervisor MEM where you'll lead a team of Maintenance Tradespersons in executing maintenance activities while ensuring consistent application of asset management processes.

In this role you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and safety of our assets as well as manage and supervise trade employees in maintenance activities, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

You'll allocate maintenance coverage for breakdowns and resolve on-the-job issues related to planned maintenance activities and shutdowns.

Additionally, you'll monitor working practices and adherence to safety procedures to ensure the safety of employees working in the area.

Reporting to the Superintendent MEM, your duties will include:

  • Manage and supervise trade employees in maintenance activities

  • Allocate maintenance coverage for breakdowns

  • Resolve on the job issues (with regards to planned maintenance activities, maintenance shutdowns, etc.)

  • Monitor working practices and adherence to safety procedures to ensure safety of employees working in the area

What you’ll bring

  • Leadership: Ability to effectively lead and manage a team of Maintenance Tradespersons

  • Maintenance Management: Proficiency in overseeing maintenance activities and ensuring that asset management processes are consistently applied to maintain the reliability and safety of assets

  • Asset Management Knowledge: Understanding of asset management principles and practices, including optimization, forecasting, lifecycle management, and risk mitigation

  • Safety Management: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by monitoring and enforcing adherence to safety procedures and regulations

  • Problem-Solving: Capacity to address on-the-job issues promptly and efficiently

  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication abilities to liaise with team members, management, and other stakeholders

  • Planning and Organization: Skill in organizing maintenance schedules, allocating resources, and prioritizing tasks to meet operational requirements

  • Quality Assurance: Dedication to maintaining high standards and quality in all maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and longevity of assets

  • Current ‘C’ Class Driver's License (Manual)
