We are looking for two Supervisors within the MEM Track and Tyre discipline to provide leadership to their team and actively promote safety awareness and safe work practices, with the aim of driving consistent performance and innovation in relation to safety, cost and production.
About the role
- Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes, whilst providing leadership, development and support to your team
- Ensure all mining activities undertaken are compliant with all relevant statutory regulations and business standards and policies
- Contribute to the HSE system and increase awareness to enable an injury free and environmentally responsible workplace
- Drive continuous improvement projects which include cost saving and production efficiency projects
- Complete daily inspections of all work areas and regular on the job interactions with the team to develop a safe and efficient work culture
What you’ll bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Leadership experience (Previous Leadership Experience outside the mining industry is a plus) and confidence in leading, developing and coaching team members
- Experience with Mining Operations
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple work targets
- Computer literacy and proficiency in the suite of Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Excel and Word
- A current Australian manual driver's license

The Marandoo mine is located at the foot of Mount Bruce adjacent to the Karijini National Park, 50 km east of the town of Tom Price. Marandoo is known for its picturesque hills and mountain ranges. Our operation currently employs a fly in fly out workforce.
