We are looking for a Supervisor Mine Water Management to lead a team accountable for the operation of the dewatering infrastructure and bore fields.

Reporting to the Superintendent Mine Water Management and working in a challenging and exciting environment within the West Angelas Mine Operations team, you will:
- Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive respectful behaviours, practices, and processes, whilst providing leadership, development, and support to your team
- Complete daily inspections of all work areas and regular on the job interactions with the team to develop a safe and efficient work culture
- Regularly review the dewatering/water management network and performance to ensure the daily mine water management operations are not compromised
- Oversee and utilise the work management system to plan, prioritise, and execute tasks required to operate and maintain the water management network, including adherence to dewatering targets
- Drive continuous improvement projects, identifying opportunities for improvement in maintaining and operating dewatering infrastructure
What you’ll bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Leadership experience and confidence in leading, developing and coaching team members
- Ability to plan and execute small projects
- Experience working with HSE management systems
- Computer literacy and proficiency in the suite of Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience with work management systems (SAP) would be beneficial
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in the mining industry or another heavy industry
- Dewatering experience beneficial
- Supervising experience beneficial
- A current Australian manual driver's license

Where you’ll be working
Located 110km west of Newman, West Angelas operates on a fly in fly out roster from Perth and Busselton.
West Angelas is a pioneer in autonomous technologies – we were the first site to trial autonomous haul trucks and incorporate autonomous drilling into our operations in 2008, and we continue to have one of the largest mining fleets in the Pilbara.
Our high grade, low phosphorous Marra Mamba orebody is an integral part of the Pilbara Blend, contributing both lump and fines products on around four trains each day. At the West Angelas hub there are state-of-the-art power generation and refueling facilities. These facilities supply power and diesel fuel to the East Pilbara mine sites.
The future is bright at West Angelas with ongoing growth projects at Deposits C and D, as well as additional deposits under study providing enormous opportunities for personal development and career growth.
