Supervisor Mining

Work Location: 

Across various Fortescue sites (Pilbara region)

Roster:

7D7N7R (2:1) FIFO ex Perth

Key responsibilities include:

• Demonstrate strong safety values
• Lead mining operations and team members to ensure safe and productive operations
• Coach and develop team members and take accountability for the skills training matrix
• Conduct pit inspections
• Conduct field interactions and complete incident investigations
• Ensure that Mining achieves or exceed budget fleet utilisation and safety performance

Education and Experience:

• Considerable experience in a similar role
• Strong leadership experience and ability to engage and empower large teams 
• Experience in Autonomous Mining operations is highly desirable but not essential
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Proven commitment to safety
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft office
• Strong understanding of efficiency drivers in a large scale mining operation
• Experienced in Frontline management
