Reporting to the Superintendent, the Mining Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that the operators on shift meet the agreed targets in a safe and efficient manner, and that all the tasks are completed in line with our policies and procedures.   We are looking for people who will champion our BHP Charter Values and foster an inclusive, step-up culture, in which employees are challenged by their daily accountabilities and established career development plans.   Furthermore, you will be encouraged to identify the improvement opportunities and lead the change management initiatives to advance our processes, methods and systems.   Hear directly from our people to learn why Nickel West is the place for you and how you can make a big impact click here,

About You   As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:   •    Previous experience in a similar role and/or the desire to effectively lead change, engage and develop team members •    WA Underground Supervisor (Shift Boss) ticket – desirable but not essential, as this is a development role in which you will be mentored and developed with the goal of obtaining your WA underground supervisor ticket •    Well established verbal and written communication skills •    Sound time management, problem solving and analytical competencies •    Strong commitment to maintaining operational disciplines and meeting agreed targets •    A current manual Australian driver's licence •    Strong orientation to safe work practices – high safety focus •    Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office   About Our Process   At BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
