About the role
Our Resource Development department is looking for a Supervisor Operations who will be part of a team responsible for the execution and delivery of evaluation and exploration programs, in both near mine and regional areas.
Resource Development is a department within Planning Integration and Assets. To be successful we need to work closely with many internal and external stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities in resource understanding, generate targets for resource evaluation and ensure project delivery.
Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Operations and working in a challenging and exciting environment, you will:
- Be an enthusiastic, inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes, whilst providing leadership, development and support to your team
- Build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders to align on operational plans and strategies
- Liaise with team members and stakeholders on drilling and evaluation priorities
- Drive effective cost management initiatives by identifying & implementing cost-saving opportunities
- Manage day-to-day operations through positive engagement and communication to enable safe productivity
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and implementing changes to optimise Resource Development operations
- Provide safety leadership in promoting a safe and environmentally responsible working ethic, leading to an incident free workplace
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Leadership experience and confidence in leading, developing and coaching team members
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- An aptitude to establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to conform to plan and drive continuous improvement initiatives

- A ‘C’ class manual driver’s license
- Cert IV in Project Management or relevant qualification desirable, but not essential.

This position will be offered on a FIFO 8 days on, 6 days off roster from Perth, Western Australia.
