Supervisor Operations NPI

Work Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.

Roster: 8D6R FIFO ex Perth

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervision of Water operators & Trades Assistant to ensure compliance to WHS Regulations
  • Manage SAP notifications and creation of work orders
  • Provide safe and efficient work environment for team
  • Ensure water treatment is completed as per Fortescue’s drinking water quality management plan
  • Follow Work management process and provide coaching to team members were required
  • Ensure onsite tool store consumables stocks and tooling registers are managed to ensure costs are managed effectively
  • Management of service contractors for project work completed on non-process infrastructure
  • Ensure waste and recycling management is completed safely and effectively  

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience in previous leadership roles
  • Experience preparing weekly work schedules for area of responsibility.
  • Experience in making decision to balance urgent and important tasks on hand.
  • Understanding of Work Management processes
  • Knowledge of Maintenance Strategies
  • Understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance principles
  • Understanding of WHS Legislation
  • Understanding of wastewater treatment plants
  • Understanding of RO plants

Additional Skills:

  • Strong planning, Organisational and scheduling skills
  • Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to manage different tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy in SAP, Microsoft office             
  • Trade qualification or equivalent previous experience
