Supervisor People Services

Work Location: Perth

Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: Monday to Friday

Reporting to the Superintendent People Services, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of People Services Officers providing end-to-end onboarding support, and processing employee change of conditions, for employees across all Fortescue locations in this Perth based role.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Supervise the People Services team and provide support during transactions and troubleshoot internal team queries.
  • Ensure staff are trained and supported in their roles
  • Effectively manage the timely completion of all SuccessFactor works flows, onboarding, and employee queries
  • Maintain a high consistent level of service delivery to the business through KPI setting
  • Developing strong, co-operative internal and external working relationships with stakeholders
  • Conduct weekly and monthly reporting identifying areas to improve processes, accuracy and data integrity.
  • Manage and implement innovative technology functions to provide efficiency and a high level of customer service.
  • Set and manage key targets for the People Services Team and provide regular and consistent feedback on performance
  • Develop, maintain and champion department processes and procedures.
  • SME for new projects and developments.
  • Work alongside team to action daily activities, to achieve stretch targets

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Previous experience in a leadership position with high volume workload achieved in a timely manner across a variety of operations (preferably within the resources industry).
  • Excellent performance management experience
  • Strong analytic skills and a high attention to detail
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent customer service skillset with experience dealing with multiple customers, and interact with individuals and groups of varying levels of authority
  • Provide leadership by coordinating and motivating the team by setting daily KPIs and deadlines
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Exposure to managing multiple and competing priorities
  • High levels of organisation skills and an ability to meet deadlines whilst managing multiple function simultaneously
