We’re looking for a safety focussed Fixed Plant Supervisor to lead a team of Fixed Plant Production operators in the safe delivery of daily production targets, daily inspections of the plant and assisting in maintaining plant reliability.

Reporting to the Superintendent Fixed Plant within our Plant Operations team, you will:
- Driving a positive safety culture through proactive, visible and authentic safety leadership
- Demonstrate ability to consistently achieve safety and operational outcomes and delivery of target
- Understanding of the mining industry from both an operational and technical perspective
- Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes, whilst providing leadership, development and support to your team
- Complete daily inspections of work areas and regular on the job interactions with the team to driving a continuous safe and efficient work culture
- Leading, organising, developing and motivating your team to exceed expectations and targets
- Ensure clear direction and stakeholder management is upheld within direct area of accountability
What you’ll bring:
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Prior exposure in a fixed plant environment
- Leadership experience and confidence in inspiring, coaching and developing team members
- Ability to execute work in alignment with Rio Tinto values (Care, Courage and Curiosity) and behaviours
- Ability to achieve outcomes through influence and collaboration with others
- A current and valid ‘C Class’ manual driver's licence
