This role is a great opportunity for an experienced shutdown coordinator/supervisor or a capable future leader with strong fixed plant maintenance experience and looking to take the next step in their career. Working an 8 days on, 6 off roster, fly in fly out from Perth, Busselton, Albany or Geraldton this role offers great work life balance. Roster flexibility may be required during shutdown execution periods. Reporting to the Fixed Plant Shutdown Superintendent, you will be:

  • Working closely with shutdown planners in identifying, planning and scheduling scopes of work and assisting in the organisation of tooling and parts
  • Regularly engaging with the contractor workforce ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly understood and setting performance targets to encourage the necessary/desired behaviours
  • Raising and managing shutdown work orders in SAP
  • Ensuring shutdown activities are completed safely and meeting the shutdown schedule, respecting the critical path and deadlines
  • Identifying and driving cost savings and safety improvement initiatives
  • Reporting on shutdown completion/outcomes to the business

  • Leadership experience and confidence in inspiring, coaching and developing team members

  • Ability to achieve outcomes through influence and collaboration with others
  • A current and valid ‘C Class’ manual driver's licence

Located 60km north-west of Tom Price, Brockman is wholly owned and operated by Rio Tinto. Opened in 2010, this open pit operation offers a family friendly fly in fly out roster with state-of-the-art camp facilities.
