About the Role: 

To maintain the operational integrity of the processing plant and ancillary plant equipment ensuring employees and the work area, comply with all statutory laws and Macmahon Contractors Pty Ltd policies and procedures; while meeting the required production quantities and quality for the Company to achieve its overall business objectives

Role Details:

• Location: Nifty Copper Project in Pilbara Region
• Roster: 8:6 FIFO EX Perth

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all HSEQT policies and procedures are followed and a proactive approach to HSEQT is maintained, including reporting, assisting and leading of investigations, training compliance
• Regular workplace inspections, incident management, hazard reporting, follow through of actions to rectify
• Ensuring that the Heap Leach circuit has the capability to meet production requirements through effective maintenance and planning
• Allocation of resources, personnel and machinery to optimise performance
• Maintain effective communication amoungst all departments to ensure all tasks are being completed to a high standard and that production targets are being met
• Actively participate in performance review process and seek performance feedback encouraging others to do the same
• Identify work required to meet Company and Client requirements
• Ability to plan, prioritise and problem solve and implement improvement opportunities and actively encourage improvement suggestions from others
• Demonstrable ability to meet KPIs including financial and production targets
• Ensure direct reports have necessary training and certifications to undertake their roles

What You'll Bring:

• Demonstrable processing knowledge and experience
• WHS 2022 (Mines) Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor competency or equivalent
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence
• Strong understanding of mining industry HSEQ standards, rules and procedures
• Ability to plan, lead and control multiple functions and tasks in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner
• Proficient computer and Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Professional interpersonal and communication skill
