We are looking for a Supervisor Production to coordinate a diverse range of disciplines in a safe and efficient manner in order to achieve operational targets. This role is a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to deliver production results as part of a close-knit team in a professional operating environment.
This role is a great opportunity for an individual who can develop and communicate production planning on a daily basis. Reporting to the Superintendent Production, you will be:
- Responsible for the operation of mobile equipment and the coordination of mobile equipment resources to deliver on agreed plans.
- Responsible for running of fixed plant assets including wash plant, conveyors, stacker, and ship loader
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of team skills and associated training records
- Conduct pre-starts, field time in a manner that drives safe production and grows capability within the team
- Development and maintenance of effective relationships with various stakeholders
- Lead a team through change by positively influencing perceptions and expectations
About youTo be successfully in this role you will have:
- Strong commitment in driving a safe working, inclusive culture
- Highly developed leadership skills and be confident in effectively mentoring and coaching a variety of team members
- Demonstrated capacity to work shifts, operating and coordinating mine operation activities of a diverse range disciplines including salt harvesting, stockpile management, ship loading, dry haul operations, wash plant and civils maintenance
- Current "C Class" WA Driver’s License
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and SAP (or similar enterprise database)
Where you will be working
Dampier Salt Limited (DSL), located in Western Australia and comprising three solar operations – Dampier, Port Hedland and Lake MacLeod – is the world’s largest exporter of seaborne salt, with capacity to produce approximately 10.3 million tonnes every year.
At our Lake MacLeod operations, we also mine and export gypsum to customers in Australia and Southeast Asia.
