We are looking for a Supervisor Production to provide positive leadership to a team of operators accountable for delivering high quality scheduled development work in a safe and productive manner.
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is seeking a rewarding frontline leadership role within a dynamic open pit mining environment.
Leading on the frontline is one of the most important jobs in our business and comes with a huge amount of responsibility. We need you to motivate, inspire and keep your people safe and well. Reporting to the Superintendent Mine Operations and working in a challenging and exciting environment within the Production team, you will:
About the role
- Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes, whilst providing leadership, development and support to your team
- Build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders to align on operational plans and strategies
- Driving effective cost management initiatives by identifying & implementing cost-saving opportunities
- Prioritising and managing unscheduled events whilst maximising mine productivity
- Championing continuous improvement by identifying and implementing changes to optimise operations
What you’ll bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Leadership experience and confidence in leading, developing and coaching team members
- Demonstrated ability in meeting targets and bringing the team on a journey of continuous development
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated complex problem-solving abilities to deliver solutions across an operation
- A current WA Driver’s license
- Quarry Managers ticket desirable but not essential
