The purpose of this role is to lead and navigate frontline personnel to achieve the mine plan in accordance with safety, environmental and cost parameters. This role will be offered on aPermanent basis.

Accountabilities 

Primary responsibilities are to:

• Monitoring and managing operational performance, productivity and other KPI's
• Perform frequent workplace and equipment inspections to ensure ongoing safety, reliability and compliance
• Develop, understand and communicate both the weekly and shift production plan
• Understand and manage costs associated with the production plan
• Provide direction and support to direct reports
• Spend appropriate time in the field to supervise the execution of the operations plan to achieve established KPI targets at a shift and crew level
• Ensure Mining Production activities are conducted safely by competent personnel in accordance with the relevant standards and operating procedures.
• Ability to strategically assign or reassign work, interpreting policy, explaining and providing a framework for projects

About You  

• Hold a current ‘C’ class driver’s license
• Proficiency in the Mining Production area with a minimum experience of between 5-7 years
• Detailed knowledge of procedures related to the operation of the department
• Previous supervisor experience with a minimum of 2-4 years
• Desirable Quarry Managers Certificate of competency WA
• Desirable S26 Supervisor competency
• Competence with 1SAP, MS Office and Fleet Management Systems
