Production Supervisor

Macmahon currently have an opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. This is a permanent position based on site at our Tropicana site FIFO from Perth on an 8/6 roster.  Reporting to the Production Superintendent the Production Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe execution of the mining operations, managing incidents, building great team culture, providing guidance and support to the leading hands, and developing team members.

To be considered for this position you will possess:

•    Section 26 Statutory Supervisor Qualification
•    Sound knowledge of relevant sections of the Mines Safety Act & Regulations
•    Previous experience in a similar role within an open pit mining environment
•    Strong leadership and communication skills
•    Able to understand targets and implement planning to ensure operational needs are met
•    A proactive approach to safety and team engagement
•    Full Australian working rights
•    Current Drivers Licence - minimum C Class

Key responsibilities will include:

•    Supervising day-to-day open pit mining operations
•    Leading, mentoring, and coaching operators and contractors
•    Ensuring compliance with site safety systems, procedures, and statutory requirements
•    Executing mine plans and schedules to meet production targets
•    Conducting pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety interactions
•    Liaising with technical services, maintenance, and contractors
