About the Role 
Reporting directly to the Senior Open Cut Examiner, this position will be responsible for leading production crews in Coal Mining and Waste removal. 
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
  • Ensure efficient and productive deployment of Production resources
  • Contribute to Daily and weekly mine planning processes
  • Monitor operations and act as required to ensure plan compliance
  • Supervise production operators to ensure compliance with the site safety management system
  • Actively contribute to, assist and share knowledge and information with your team aimed at improving safety, work processes, cost and teamwork
About You 
To be considered for this role, you should posses the following qualifications and experiences:
  • Experience in Surface coal mining operations including operation of heavy mobile equipment
  • Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Extensive experience in mine operations
  • Ability to engage with a workforce to achieve a safe and collaborative work environment
