ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour work week; Monday to Thursday roster. It is a DIDO role from our Worsley Alumina Refinery, located just a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (35 minutes), and other scenic communities.

As the Supervisor Rope Maintenance, you will be responsible for leading a diverse maintenance crew, ensuring the safe execution of work, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring the maintenance schedules and standards are met.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Supervising and supporting a team of maintenance professionals, fostering competency and a safety-first culture.
• Planning daily work activities, ensuring teams have the necessary tools and resources for success.
• Managing resource work centre data and overseeing the work management process to ensure timely and efficient work completion.
• Leading regular audits and ensuring compliance with operational standards, creating an environment of continuous improvement.

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Proven leadership and experience in supervising a maintenance team, with a focus on building an inclusive and supportive work environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, influence, and empower team members.
• Expertise in maintenance processes, including SAP and work management systems.
• Ability to problem-solve, prioritise tasks, and manage competing demands effectively.
• Exposure to Rope Splicing and Rope Maintenance is preferred, but not essential.

Qualifications for this position include:

• Currently or can be appointed as a statutory supervisor under Schedule 26.

Desirable:

• Formal leadership qualification.
