The Telfer Gold Mine site, located in the Great Sandy Desert in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia, produces copper and gold. Macmahon began its operations at the Telfer mine site in February 2016 and is delivering the surface drill and blast, load and haul, mobile maintenance and rehandle mine functions.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. This is a permanent position based on site at our Telfer Site FIFO 2/1 roster from Perth.

Managing the day to day shift production operations, your leadership and team building skills will ensure safe and productive work practices. You must be prepared to facilitate growth and development of your crew and support company and client safety programs. You must be committed to building and maintaining a positive and proactive work culture in your team.

To be considered for this position you will ideally have;

• Certificate IV Frontline management
• Certificate III Surface Extraction Operations
• Minimum of 2 years in an open cut mining Leadership role
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills
• Current Drivers Licence – minimum C Class
• Sound knowledge of relevant sections of the Mines Act
• Intermediate computer literacy

Should you be successful in being offered a role in Macmahon's Surface Mining Division, you will be required to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test along with obtaining a National Police Certificate.
