We are looking for Supervisor MEM Shutdowns to lead the planning and safe execution of primary dig unit shuts across our East Pilbara sites – West Angelas, Greater Hope Downs and Yandi.
This role is a great opportunity for an individual who has experience within a MEM shutdown environment and is looking to take the next step in their career.
Reporting to the Superintendent MEM Shuts and working in a challenging and exciting environment within the MEM Shuts East Pilbara team, you will:
- Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviors, practices and processes
- Working closely with shutdown planners in identifying, planning and scheduling scopes of work and assisting in the organisation of tooling and parts
- Regularly engaging with the contractor workforce ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly understood and setting performance targets to encourage the necessary/desired behaviours
- Raising and managing shutdown work orders in SAP
- Ensuring shutdown activities are completed safely and meeting the shutdown schedule, respecting the critical path and deadlines
- Identifying and driving cost savings and safety improvement initiatives
- Reporting on shutdown completion/outcomes to the business
What you’ll bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Leadership experience and confidence in leading, developing and coaching team members
- An aptitude to establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
- Previous experience in a shutdown environment
- Contractor workforce management experience
- Maintenance experience working with Hitachi Excavators (desirable)
- Exposure to work management process and SAP
- A current Australian driver's license
