We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic people to join our team as a Supervisor Plant Shutdown. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and mindset, and who values personal and others safety above all else. The primary function of this role will be responsible for ensuring all tasks are understood pre-shutdown and the necessary actions are taken to ensure successful execution of shutdowns, aligned with site’s direction and positive culture.

Reporting to the Superintendent Fixed Plant, working 8 days on, 6 days off roster, Duties will include:
- Working closely with Shutdown Planners, Electrical Coordinators, Permit Officers, our fixed plant teams, and our contractor partners to develop and execute a quality shutdown plan.
- Management of contractors when on site and coordinating all mechanical tasks pre, post and during shutdowns for your assigned area of responsibility to QA/QC requirements.
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to safety to achieve a workplace target of zero injuries and incidents
- Completing deep dives into shutdown work orders and identifying constraints such as interactions, commissioning requirements, isolations/permits, accuracy of duration of tasks, parts, resources etc.
- Actively support and coordinate pre shut and post shut activities – i.e., job scoping, planning, shut org charts, development of wash-down & permit plans, crane set up maps, laydown/staging areas, tooling and consumables, clean-up, tooling returns, parts return etc.
- Influencing team members and our contract partners to generate improvement ideas
What you’ll bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Excellent understanding of Work Management Systems and Process; able to easily navigate through SAP and Gantts
- High exposure to Contractor Management System; CMS qualification required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to engage with the team and our contractor partners to promote site’s values and positive culture
- A willingness to learn and a continuous improvement mindset
- A positive outlook and an adaptable, flexible, and reliant attitude
- Dedicated commitment to workplace health and safety
- An unrestricted 'C' Class Driver's Licence
