About the role

We are looking for a Supervisor Shutdown Parts and Logistics at Greater Nammuldi to lead , mentor coach the Maintenance Support Officers, Parts and Logistics,   who support the Shutdown and Maintenance Teams, whilst working closely with all key stakeholders.

  • Organise and Manage the site's parts and OSR for all Maintenance and Shutdown activities whilst promoting and developing a positive safety culture.

Reporting to the Superintendent Plant Operations and working in a challenging and exciting environment, you will:

  • Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes, whilst providing leadership, development and support to your team
  • Actively foster and communicate a positive safety culture to promote safety awareness and compliance, encouraging prioritisation of safety in all activities and operations
  • Organise and manage the preparation and execution of Fixed Plant Shutdown work in compliance to the Rio Tinto Shutdown Procedure
  • Be responsible for Fixed Plant Shutdown training, safety compliance, scheduling and productivity
  • Manage Fixed Plant Shutdown activities to maximise productivity while minimising cost and environmental impact
  • Define staffing and development needs of Fixed Plant Shutdown
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to operations while maintenance and improvements are being performed

What you’ll bring

  • Leadership experience and confidence in leading, developing and coaching team members
  • Mechanical or Electrical Trade certificate or equivalent
  • Knowledge of maintenance principles
  • Contractor management experience
  • An understanding of the work management process and principles
  • Experience working in fixed plant operations, maintenance or similar
  • A Current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver's Licence (Manual)
