Reporting to the Superintendent Site Services & Dewatering and working in a challenging and exciting environment within the Site Services team, you will:
We are looking for a Supervisor Site Services to join the Site Services team and support internal customers through the delivery of all facilities maintenance and site services across our Pannawonica operations. This role will lead and monitor our contracted maintenance service providers to safely and cost effectively provide maintenance services to site and provide minor project support to internal customers to support the mine objectives.
- Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes, whilst providing leadership, development and support to your team
- Managing end to end delivery of site services across site including facilities maintenance, cleaning and gardening services, waste services and minor site projects
- Management of multiple contractors simultaneously, including monitoring contractor safety, performance and compliance
- Promoting a strong health and safety culture through interactions, improvement initiatives and time in the field
- Ensuring compliance to all Company Standards and Contractor Management Systems
- Providing support and technical advice to contractors and internal customers
What you’ll bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Leadership experience and confidence in leading, developing and coaching team members
- Proven experience in a contractor management and/or supervisor/leadership role
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and environment improvement
- Experience in facilities maintenance, preferably within the mining or heavy industries
- Ability to project management multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to interpret technical information, and provide advice to the team
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple work targets
- Computer literacy and proficiency in SAP and the suite of Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Excel and Word
- A current Australian driver's license
