Supervisor - Sourcing & Contracts

Job Responsibilities

Join Macmahon’s Supply team in a pivotal leadership role driving strategic sourcing, supplier engagement, and contract performance across Australia and Southeast Asia. Your expertise will strengthen commercial outcomes and ensure our operations secure value and manage risk effectively. This is a 12-month maternity leave coverage, with the possibility of extension.

About the role 
In this role you will:

• Supervise and lead team of Sourcing Officers and Contracts Specialists
• Application of Category Management Principles which drive business initiatives and Strategic Sourcing goals
• Initiate and lead Category / Sourcing projects, with input from internal stakeholders
• Present proposed sourcing methodology (eg RFP/Tender or direct negotiation) and savings opportunities to seek endorsement from senior managers.
• Conduct RFP/Tender and commercial negotiations on behalf of the company
• Recommend contract award, negotiate and execute contracts
• Oversee and apply contract management throughout contract lifecycle
• Ensure processes and systems are in place that allow accurate category sub- category reporting and analysis.
• Regularly review category trends and demands to identify sourcing opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for Supply
• Oversee Modern Slavery Act Obligations for Supply and publishing of annual statement
• Ensure correct system usage company approved ERP systems, SAP and Sharepoint and other
• Based in our Head Officer near Perth Airport on Monday to Friday roster.

About you

• Ability to negotiate / conflict resolution (internal and external)
• Strong verbal and written and communication skills
• Ability to influence correct procurement practices across MAH group.
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Strong time management
• Ability to work autonomously and also within a team
• Intermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Analytic skills / trouble shooting
• Strong commercial acumen
