Macmahon is currently seeking an experienced Support Supervisor to join our WAC Workshop team in a full-time permanent capacity based at the Perth Airport. Due to an internal promotion, this position is responsible for leading the support roles at the WAC Workshop.


The Workshop undertakes a range of tasks to manage Macmahon’s fleet of equipment, as well as maintenance projects for external clients. The workshop houses the rebuild workshop, quarantine, sandblast and paint shop, component workshop and warehouse store.


Responsibilities of the role:
•    Manage and continuously improve short, and long-term planning forecasts for the workshop projects to achieve monthly budget targets
•    Review and report project margins and expenses
•    Review customer invoicing
•    Manage WIP reviews and set actions
•    Operational reporting
•    Oversee workshop support staff


To be successful the following is required:
•    Planning & scheduling leadership experience
•    1-2 years in a leadership position – within the mining industry
•    Computer literate with experience using MS Word/Excel/Project
•    High knowledge of earthmoving machinery


Desirable:
•    Relevant Trade Qualification
•    Experience in warehousing
•    Frontline Management training

Should you be successful in this role, you will be required to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test along with obtaining a National Police Clearance.
