Supervisor - Training

Job Responsibilities

Macmahon is seeking a Training Supervisor for their Tropicana mine site on an 8:6 roster. You will coordinate the delivery of all on-site training requirements, ensuring site personnel perform their roles according to site and industry standards, and Macmahon policies and procedures.

About the role

• Conduct and manage training and assessments and site plans, ensuring compliance with Client, Macmahon, and legislative requirements.
• Coordinate daily/weekly training forecasts with Supervisory Teams and display compliance and training reports in designated areas.
• Accurately complete all training and assessment documents.
• Develop and deliver new technical and operational training to Crew Trainers for current and future mining operations.
• Provide advice and support to the project managers, project supervisors and trainers in relation to the development needs of their personnel. 

About you

• Cert IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
• Cert IV in Work Health and Safety (desirable).
• Driver’s licence (manual).
• Skilled in operating haul trucks, loaders, and ancillary equipment.
• Frontline management certification/training (desirable).
