We are seeking a Power Station Supervisor with extensive experience within the power generation industry.
You will be responsible for the leadership, management and direction of onsite trades to successfully maintain and operate the Paraburdoo Power Station. The correct candidate will have proven extensive experience performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of power plant assets in accordance with instructions, procedures and required standards to enable reliable plant operations.

Reporting to the Superintendent Utilities and working in a challenging and exciting environment within our Plant Operations team, you will:
- Provide safety and technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to a team of mechanical and electrical maintainers carrying out inspections, scheduled maintenance, breakdown maintenance and project upgrades within the power station
- Ensuring that maintenance is of a high quality and re-work is not required
- Planning daily work, utilising the team’s strengths
- Use SAP to raise and approve notifications, maintain team capacities and ensure maintenance activity information is captured
- Work with the engineering team supporting projects and major outages
- Supporting all operational leaders where required
- Supporting all aspects of HSEQ compliance, auditing, education and management of the HSEQ System
- Review and approve weekly scheduled maintenance plans
- Previous experience in performance management, incident investigations and in safety leadership
- Proven ability in leading a safe, cost effective and high achieving team to meet operational requirements
What you’ll bring
- Mechanical Trade qualification or Electrical Trade qualification
- EEHA qualification and experience
- Experience in HV switching and operations
- PLC and operating platform qualifications and experience
- Experience in operations and maintenance of Gas Turbines & Balance of Plant.
- Operation and maintenance of reverse osmosis water treatment plants
- Experience and an understanding the Work Management Processes & Practices
- Western Australian C class driver’s licence
It will also be beneficial if you have:
- GE LM6000 gas turbine Level 1 & Level 2 mechanical maintenance
- Experience with GE Jet Engines, LM2500, LM6000 or LMS100 gas turbines is also preferred
- Industrial Gas fitting, type B appliance training and experience
- Hazardous area training
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and SAP
- Condition monitoring techniques, i.e. Vibration monitoring, lube oil sampling
