About the role
Finding better ways to provide the materials the world needs
We are seeking an engaging, safety focused Supervisor Utilities to join our Utilities Maintenance Team at the Cape Lambert.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity to draw on your people leadership skills, harnessed with your technical knowledge to positively lead the maintenance scheduling team. You will have a strong safety leadership focus to ensure the reliability and sustainability of our power distribution network, potable water, and hydrocarbon assets.
This role is a great opportunity to showcase your influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
Reporting to the Superintendent Utilities you will be:
- Leading a multidisciplinary team of electrical and mechanic maintainers
- Responsible for the operation and maintenance of Rio Tinto’s high voltage power networks across Wickham and Cape Lambert Port Operations
- Accountable for maintenance of potable water and hydrocarbon supply network to Cape Lambert Port Operations
- Developing your team’s capability through ongoing coaching and mentoring, structured training, and support.
- Demonstrating the Rio Tinto values of courage, care, and curiosity
What you’ll bring
- Must hold a WA Electrical License
- Be proactive with a commitment in driving a safe and inclusive team culture
- Have leadership experience and be confident in leading, developing, and coaching team members
- Ability to work with diverse teams and manage multiple programs of continuous improvement activities
- Ability to achieve outcomes through influence and collaboration with others
- Hold a current "C Class" WA Manual Driver’s License
