About the Role
The Supervisor Operations is responsible for supervising the use of process control systems, the operations of the Accommodation team, overseeing compliance with operating standards, procedures, work instructions and defined processes, to achieve optimal performance outcomes. Provide direction in line with the organizational strategy and values. Verify compliance to contract scope. Role covers large geographical spread of BMA village portfolio across Moranbah and Dysart and third party villages in whole of Bowen Basin. Liaise with village management teams and security team members to ensure the provision of services are provided safely for all staff and contractors at an acceptable level.
KEY WORK OUTPUTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Production Execution
- Actively contributes to best HSEC practices, particularly in the areas of injury prevention, case management and escalation protocol compliance.
- Leading a diverse team of high performing individuals
- Identifies and implements operational and cost improvement opportunities within villages.
- Builds cross-functional relationships with the other NPI sub-functions to support the delivery of service.
- Risk monitoring and control of food safety and asset compliance and engagement of compliance auditors.
- Injury case management in conjunction with the HSE team
- Completion of performance of control verification activities (CCV) and manage non-conformances.
- Leading safety observations, actions and audits in field.
- Investigate reported events using the 1SAP work management process and instigate improvements where the operations department has the primary accountability for controlling the risk.
About You
- Tertiary education preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising and leading a team
- Ability to build strong working relationships and work with others for a collective outcome
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a range of cross functional stakeholders
- Contractor management experience
- Previous contract management, supply, supervisory experience.
- Experience in LEAN/ continuous improvement processes.
- Strong commercial & financial acumen
- Stakeholder management experience
