About the Role
Our Warehousing Inventory and Logistics team are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join a technically motivated and results-driven team. Reporting into the Superintendent Warehouse, your role will be to deliver the safe and effective operations of an onsite/offsite warehouse.
Whilst the safety of the work environment and the safety of your team are absolutely paramount, there is a required focus of your day to day, to lead, coach and mentor the warehouse team members to ensure delivery against performance targets, safety targets and warehousing best practices.
BHP Warehouses and other departments are undergoing constant evolution whilst striving to achieve world-class outcomes, candidates that are fully prepared to engage positively in the implementation, evaluation and improvement of necessary business practices will be most suitable to this role.

Supply Chain professional with sound knowledge of safety, storage and transport of goods, IT operating systems, hazardous materials, and dangerous goods

This role can be based in Broadmeadow (DIDO) or Mackay (Residential)
About You
You will be an engaging, inclusive and enthusiastic leader, who is motivated by high performance and are able to use your relationship building and negotiation skills to influence others.
Your proven ability to motivate and manage a team is essential to your success in this role. Proven leadership experience is essential, preference within a Supply Chain area. You will utilize your ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities. You will possess strong decision-making skills to achieve the best outcome for your own Warehouse team as well as the broader BHP group.

Own or have a willingness to achieve forklift licences

1SAP Knowledge

Extended Warehouse Management system experience is desirable

Ability to obtain S123 G2 Supervisor qualification to fully execute obligations
