We are looking for a Workshop Supervisor to supervise a mechanical maintenance team.

This role is a great opportunity for someone mechanically minded who can communicate well, is passionate about working safely and a great opportunity to learn more about a maintenance focused role. Reporting to Superintendent Planning Scheduling and No1 Workshop, you will be:
- Leading a dynamic team to execute scheduled work as planned, focusing on productively delivering on customer needs.
- Working closely with the EII/ PPT maintenance, Planning Teams, Electrical maintenance, project and CMS as required.
- Providing support regarding HSEQ workplace policies procedures and critical risk monitoring.
- Running effective pre-starts and infield CRM verifications, demonstrate team develop and coaching opportunities.
- Monitoring team qualifications, present effective handovers and demonstrate effective communication with your peers.
- Lead and develop trades people and apprentices to productively deliver a safe high quality of work.
What you’ll bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Current "C” class driver’s license
- Experience in leading mechanical trades
- Exposure to Asset Management processes and practices (SAP, work management)
- Experience in fixed plant maintenance
- Mechanical trade or mechanical engineering degree (desired)
