About the Opportunity
Due to the continued growth and evolving business needs, we have identified the need for a talented and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the supply chain process from end to end by developing and maintaining appropriate supply chain strategies to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.

Key Responsibilities
- Directs and coordinates supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimisation, profitability maximisation, resulting in the maximisation of customer satisfaction
- Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing, procurement and delivery of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand
- Works with planning and operations to maximise communication and efficiency
- Monitors and corrects inventory levels to ensure rotation and maximize working capital
- Manages the logistics function and works with freight forwarders / transportation companies to maximise transportation and reduce cost. Approves all freight terms and agreements.
- Ensures procurement department are maximising supplier agreements and ensures compliance to contract
- Establish leading practices in supply chain both nationally and regionally
- Manage day to day tactical troubleshooting upon escalation
- Responsible for coaching and developing supply chain personal to become a performance based function
About You
- Qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Materials Management, or a related discipline (desirable)
- Significant experience in purchasing, procurement or contracts administration, preferably within an industrial services multi-site organisation
- Experience and knowledge of mining equipment industry
- Possess excellent planning and organisation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong time management skills and ability to plan and forecast
- Can identify and facilitate effective high-level customer and stakeholder relationships
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment, and
- Concern for high standards of consistency and integrity in procurement practices.
