Glencore’s McArthur River Mine (MRM) is a world-class zinc-lead mine with a long future. You’ll find our mine in the Gulf of Carpentaria 900 km southeast of Darwin and 64 km from Borroloola. We produce and process zinc, lead and silver from our open cut mine. It is then stored and transported to our Bing Bong loading facility and shipped to our customers worldwide. Our customers use our essential commodities in everyday products for mobility, infrastructure and communications.  

About the role:
At MRM, we’re looking for an Entry level Supply Officer with superb organisational skills and incredible attention to detail to join our team.  This role reports to the Supervisor, Purchasing and Logistics and is FIFO from Darwin, working 14 days on, 14 days off, 14 nights on, 14 days off and is a fantastic opportunity for work-life balance. 

• Safe and efficient receipt, storage, despatch, and distribution of our warehoused goods
• Receipt stock accurately and in compliance with operational requirements, policies and procedures
• Provide timely and accurate distribution of materials 
• Housekeeping to ensure a safe and controlled work environment 

The ideal applicant for the role should possess:

• A current forklift ticket (High Risk Work License)
• Experience using ERP / WMS systems; exposure to SAP is a definite advantage
• A commitment to safety that is second to none
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a small team
• An eye for detail, excellent house-keeping and genuine pride in your area of work
• A passion for warehousing and providing exemplary customer service to all End Users
• The desire to make a lasting contribution at MRM and the wider Glencore group
• A clean, current HR Driver’s license (Desirable)
• Cert III / IV in Warehousing / Distribution or Transport / Logistics (Desirable)
