The Jaguar Operation Located 60km north of Leonora and 250km north of Kalgoorlie, comprises the Jaguar and Bentley copper-zinc-silver underground mines, a processing plant and an exploration team.

Jaguar Operations now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Surface Electrician to provide day to day maintenance of the surface electrical fixed plant & equipment. This role is permanent, full time and based at our Jaguar mine site, north of Leonora, WA, on an 8:6, 7:7 roster.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Perform any planned maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Perform shutdown tasks and maintenance on mill slip ring and dc motors
- Diagnose and fault find on PLC/CITECT controlled equipment
- Ensure reliability of all surface electrical infrastructure
- Ensure reliability of processing plant
- Install, maintain, and calibrate process controllers/flowmeters etc.
- Carry out installation of new equipment or modifications to existing equipment
- Test equipment and ensure safety compliance
- Complete statutory testing and ensure records are kept up to date
- Complete paperwork – PM sheets, timesheets, work orders etc.
- Complete HV switching operations

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A Grade Electrical Licence (WA)
- All relevant tickets (HV Switching, Confined Space, EWP, LF, WAH etc.)
- Experience in Fixed Plant Mining Electrical.
- Previous PLC/CITECT operation/fault finding experience
- Previous Slip Ring & DC Motor maintenance experience
- Cert IV Instrumentation highly desirable
- Completed HV switching training or refresher
