We are looking for a Specialist Trainer to join our inclusive and high performing Surface Mining Production Training team. Working as the link between technical expert and trainer facilitator, your communication skills and proactive nature will enable you to deliver training for our new starters and upskilling current workforce.
Reporting to the Training Supervisor key responsibilities will include:
- Delivery of all new starter Onboarding training and pass outs of equipment.
- Train, coach and mentor New to Industry personnel.
- Reviewing content of operational training programs and training packages.
- Communication and building of solid relationships.
- Conducting Field Leaderships and Identifying hazards in the work areas.
About You
We have a strong focus on finding individuals with the right values, leadership capability, and communication skills. Your interpersonal skills will foster collaborative working relationships across operational teams.
Key requirements include:
- Certificate IV TAE Training and Assessing 40116 or 40116 Enterprise Skillset is required (TAE40110 Minimum)
- HRWL competencies are required
- Processing and Permit competencies is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated hands on training and the ability to seek out opportunities in learning
- Effective analytical and assessment of training programs
- Experience in training and assessment of candidates
- A current C class driver’s license
Location
Nickel West Leinster is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The operation sources nickel ore from the Perseverance Underground Mine and Cliffs Underground Mine before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate.
