About the Role
In this exciting period of growth, an opportunity exits to join our Underground
Team, as the Nominated Underground Mine Surveyor.
What You’ll Do
- Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for setting out survey mining designs and limits, plan preparation and support the machine guidance systems with design data.
- You will ensure survey data is recorded and stored as per project management plans whilst complying with statutory and safety obligations.
- Lead the underground survey team to establish industry leading survey practices.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 3 years' experience in underground miningTertiary qualifications in surveying or equivalent
- Be registered and eligible to fulfil the role of the Nominated Surveyor
- Experience with Autocad C3D and Terramodel software
- Familiar with Trimble GPS and Total stations
- Experience with machine guidance systems
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide accurate information to agreed time frames
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A demonstrated commitment to safety and the environment
