Talent Acquisition Advisor

We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our Brisbane based team. Reporting to the Director of Operations - HR, this role will be responsible for providing our end to end recruitment of the highest calibre candidate for our Australian assets at all levels of the business.

About the role:

At Peabody our Talent Acquisition Partners, do just that, they partner with the business and provide a “high touch” end to end recruitment service on a 12 month fixed term basis, with potential for permanency. This includes; 

• Working with hiring managers to develop selection criteria and recruitment strategy
• Drafting job advertisements and posting across a variety of media
• Screening, shortlisting and interviewing applicants against selection criteria
• Assessment Centre facilitation 
• Proactively building and engaging our talent network
• Providing candidates and stakeholders an exceptional customer experience
• Promoting a culture of inclusion and diversity within the recruitment process
• Supporting the greater HR function
• Coordinating the onboarding activities

 Put simply, you will do a lot more than screen resumes, send out generic emails and administer a transactional process. You will add value and be valued for it! 

The lifestyle: This position is offered on a Monday to Friday basis, working from our South Brisbane office with flexible work arrangements.

About you:

You are a Talent Acquisition professional looking to move out of an agency or you have worked inhouse but want to work in a mature environment with internal clients who appreciate your skills and expertise.

Ideally, you will have experience recruiting operational roles within either the mining, heavy industry or construction sectors. More important however is your sense of urgency and a commitment to providing excellent customer service and candidate care.
