About the role
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to work within the Global Graduate Talent team partnering with the business, universities and graduates to position Rio Tinto to offer a world-class graduate program that fosters our future leaders.
This role is a great opportunity for a collaborative, creative thinking individual who is experienced in managing multiple stakeholders and delivering HR projects / recruitment campaigns. Reporting to the Specialist - Graduate Talent, you will:
- Collaborate with recruitment partners to develop APAC specific campaigns and support with career fair activities (virtual and face to face)
- Project manage graduate and vacation campaigns in APAC including event management, candidate engagement, supporting with interviews, assessment centres, facilitating offers and onboarding preparation
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders in the APAC region and be the ‘go to’ subject matter expert (SME) on graduate talent acquisition
- Support regional university (education partnership) engagement and other key external stakeholders
- Champion and support with the delivery of the graduate strategy, influencing key stakeholders on focus areas
- Support the delivery of the Graduate Development program including the delivery of development initiatives in the APAC region
- Identify and implement opportunities using data insights to drive improvements initiatives
What you’ll bring
- HR professional or similar with proven experience in supporting and managing multiple stakeholders
- Experience recruiting in the IS&T space is highly desirable
- A relevant qualification in Human Resources is desirable
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise conflicting priorities, work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Project management experience and use of the MS Office suite

This role is based at the Rio Tinto Brisbane Hub in the CBD and offers flexible work arrangements. The Graduate Talent team supports the end-to-end recruitment cycle and development program of graduates and vacation students globally.
