We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner on a 12-month fixed term basis to join our APAC West team based in our centrally located offices in Perth in the Central Park building. This opportunity provides recruitment support to leaders in your specific region/portfolio and partners with our offers and onboarding teams based locally and in India. Your remit will include driving the delivery of end-to-end recruitment services from job brief, advertising, shortlisting, and interview preparation, and supporting offers and on-boarding of new employees. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Team Lead, you will:

  • Act as the key contact to facilitate the delivery of recruitment services for specific sites within the Rio Tinto group for all positions between hiring leads, and the various teams executing recruitment including mobility and onboarding services.
  • Establish, develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of strategy and the translation of this into an effective recruitment strategy
  • Facilitate and support end-to-end recruitment activities across multiple sites within the business with a strong focus on people, processes, continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with leaders to understand business workforce plans and hiring requirements and ensure sourcing strategies meet the business needs
  • Utilise reports and analysis of recruitment activities as a basis for continuous improvement in stakeholder relationship by highlighting concerns/issues and providing appropriate recommendations
  • Provide regular pre-defined recruitment and sourcing key performance indicators, metrics and progress updates as required
  • Identify and recommend areas for improvement in recruitment and sourcing processes and systems

What you’ll bring

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Significant recruitment experience gained through agency or internal recruitment environment
  • Strong influencing skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Sound ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads including ad hoc project work
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing hard-to-fill roles in a candidate short market using Linked In Recruiter or similar systems
  • Experience operating within recruitment systems
  • Exposure to remuneration setting highly advantageous
