Come and be a part of this success. About the Role We are looking to engage with a passionate Service Technician for our Port Site Infrastructure. This is permanent full-time residential role offering a Lifestyle Roster (4:5 / 5:4 / 5:5 days only) in the town of Port Hedland. Reporting to the Supervisor, your main responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- An overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development
- Build relationships across functions to support production and contribute to a positive working environment
- Identify, report and rectify hazards across Nelson Point
- Conduct safety critical plant inspections to a high level
- Develop quality, task-based risk assessments
- Participate in field leadership activities
- Enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds
About You As the successful applicant you will possesses the following:
- Previous experience in a mining production civil technician environment with knowledge on mobile equipment will be advantageous
- A proven track record of safe work practices in a high risk environment
- A valid Australian C Class Driver’s Licence is essential
- National accredited Licences including HR Licence, Skidsteer, Front End Loader, Excavator, Roller, EWP are highly desirable
- Proven track record of hazard identification and resolution
- A motivated problem solver who is dedicated to continuously improving their work environment
- Demonstrated experience working in a diverse team environment
- Strong history of field leadership participation
- An analytical problem solver who enjoys identifying opportunities for improvement and proactively solving them
- Ability to explain the why behind decisions, actions and processes
