Reporting to the General Manager, an opportunity exists for an experienced Technical Services Manager to join the Oaky Creek Coal Leadership Team.  

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Provide leadership and guidance to a specialist team of Mining, Geotechnical, Geological and Survey professionals.
• Advising and assisting the management team in the development of strategies, priorities and schedules, including annual budgets, monthly forecasts, short term mine planning and Life of Mine (LOM) planning.
• Leading the way and enabling a technical team to deliver high quality outcomes consistent with mining principles and practical application in an environment that is focused on integration, performance, and continuous improvement.

About you:

• 10 years industry experience (Underground Mining preferrable)
• Hold Mining Engineering Qualifications with tertiary qualifications in either ventilation or geotechnical areas
• Proven experience in a similar role with leadership capabilities in relation to high performing teams
• Ability to influence and drive change
• Appreciation of the big picture
• High levels of resourcefulness, initiative, personal organisation, and diplomacy
• Advanced Analytical and problem-solving skills
