About the Role
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor the successful candidate will undertake day-to-day preventative maintenance activities and breakdown repairs in a safe and efficient manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and liveability in our Community Infrastructure.
Other responsibilities include:
- Fault Find on Fixed and Mobile Plant Underground Equipment, i.e: reticulation, pumps, starters, including production and development drill rigs
- Perform Preventative and Breakdown Maintenance on Electrical Systems
- Undertake Training and Upskilling as required
- Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development;
- Ensure adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process;
- Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation;
- Take a proactive role in maintaining appropriate standards of behaviour;
- Carry out system generated inspections.
About You
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
- Trade Qualification in A Grade Electrical
- HV Switching Ticket and Experience
- Valid Australian driver’s license
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Mining Operations, underground & surface
- Must have underground mining experience
- Computer Literacy to use the following systems - 1SAP, Fiori, MS Excel and Word
- EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights (Desirable)
- A proven track record of safety management
- Must be able to work at a high standard autonomously
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
