ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent role DIDO from Boddington mine site.
As the Technician Maintenance Fabricator, you will be responsible for to safely execute safely execute maintenance work on equipment as per 1SAP processes, maintenance schedules and work instructions as directed by the Supervisor Maintenance or Superintendent Maintenance. Actively support and apply the company’s continuous improvement principles to minimize cost, maximize production.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Execute work orders as per schedule and relevant work instructions associated with the work orders.
- Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability.
- Ensure adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all events and hazards and participate in workplace investigations or observations as required.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Trade qualified in Fabrication/Hold a national certificate 3 Mechanical Engineering /Mechanical (Fabrication)
- Current C & HR class driver’s license
- Demonstrated written and oral English language proficiency
- High Risk Work License for forklift, elevated work platform, Basic Rigging and accredited Working @ Height training.
Qualifications for this position are:
- SAP data entry, work order processing and warehouse functions knowledge
- High Risk Work License for Forklift
